An Evening With The Police

We went to The Police concert Tuesday night at the American Airlines Center. Stewart Copeland's shirt is right. It was sold out, and was the first of two sold out shows at the AAC. It was a great concert, no fireworks or big surprises, but a stellar performance nonetheless. Sting sounded, well, like Sting. Stewart Copeland was amazing (best part of the show) and Andy Summers played some amazing guitar. Still can't believe he is 64.

The fact that it is probably the last time we will see them perform together (and the first time for me) made the show even better, like it was more important because of the significance. They were wonderful, and at their best when playing their biggest hits like 'Roxanne', 'Can't Stand Losing You', 'Every Little Thing She Does' and 'Walking in My Footsteps'.

Now if we could only get Genesis to play Dallas on their reunion tour. Come on Genesis, you're just Throwing It All Away in a Land of Confusion Tonight, Tonight, Tonight. That's all.

Here's a quick video from The Police concert,
