It's missing something...

The newest creation for Pizza Hut Japan. Oh, I just realized what it needs! More cheese, some extra pigs-in-blankets sprinkled on top, and a plunger.

Here's a caloric breakdown, in case you were curious:

Now that's one hot, sexy pizza.

Plush Tinys

Finally, somebody my own size to play with.

Save the Charleys

I know, I know, it's becoming a cat blog again, but this is sweet. I think he'd be a nice friend for Sam and Pesci: the three-legged one, the tall skinny one, and the wobbly one. Sounds like a perfect trio to me! Such a sweet boy....

Michael Buble - "Everything"

I love this song. The video is a little goofy, but the song is sweet.

PacMan (Original Size)

Sorry about the odd size (and speed), but I had adjust the frame size so it wouldn't overflow into the links bar. A fun little time waster, just for you. :)

Pretty BIG Eyes

This is Masha Tyelna, who is from the Ukraine, a model (surprise) and has the biggest eyes I've ever seen. And she's almost 6 feet tall. Good for you girl, good for you.
Click here to see more beautimous pics of miss Masha.

It could come to this.

I hope we aren't all working from our beds in 20 years, like the grandparents in Willy Wonka. On second thought, this could be a nice setup for our desks at work. Well, maybe just a plushy little foot stool would be nice. It's hard when your feet don't always touch the floor.

You Can Eat It

Still can't afford an iPhone? Didn't go to TCU/SMU? Well feast on this: the iPhone cake. The 'touch-pad' is a bit messy, but you can eat it. Delicioso!

Time is Money

Now this is a clock. It actually uses water to show the time, filling up each clear tube with blue water as the minutes pass. So pretty! Just one thing. It's $12,000.00. Worth it?

Slick Rick - "Children's Story" 1988

This was probably my first favorite rap song, and it still holds up. Here's a little "Children's Story" trivia:
Children's Story is a song by Slick Rick. It is a tragic tale that can be interpreted as an implicit condemnation of violence and greed that has often been referred to as the hip hop counterpart to Johnny Cash's "Don't Take Your Guns To Town". It samples "Think (About It)" by Lyn Collins and "Nautilus" by Bob James, two class. It features a single, almost four-minute-long verse without instrumental breaks or a refrain. A testament to the influence of Slick Rick, his lyrics have since been sampled and reincorporated in countless hip hop songs.

In 2004, "Children's Story" appeared in the popular video game Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, on classic hip hop radio station Playback FM. The song was also featured on the rival True Crime: New York City soundtrack.

Now that is a fly jam.

What a Funny Coincidence

Remember the movie 'Troll'? It came out in 1986, and was a pretty cheesy horror movie. I remember renting it on VHS ages ago, at this little video store in Arlington, and my brothers and I watching it repeatedly. Well, something I didn't remember, was the boy's name in the movie - Harry Potter. Erik discovered this little tidbit of pop-culture trivia and passed it on to me for future use.
Jeopardy here I come.

Oh,and Erik asked that I pass this along - He is in need of freelance, so if any of my readership (all 3 of you) need any video work (editing, transfer, duplication, archiving, etc...) or know someone who does, please pass along his info to them, or their info to him. You are all my champions. Well, most of you anyway.
You know who you are. :-)

World's Tiniest Pac-Man Game

As requested, here is the world's tiniest Pac-Man game.

Chicks, Man!

Sweet and sad at the same time. This most precious of kitties adopted these 7 orphaned chicks after the mother hen was kilt. (Probably by one of those crazy hunter guys who likes picking off
hens with 7 mouths to feed). Just saying, people have hobbies.

I'm not hating on the hen hunter. Chick-fil-chick-sands
are gooooood.

In a sad way.

Um, looks like I'm going to be just a smidge late to work.

What today felt like.

Sad yes, but tomorrow is going to be totally gnarly. Today
won't even know what hit it, because Tomorrow is going to
show Today how it's done. Pimps up, hos down.
Now that's real.

And no, I don't have a fever right now. Trust.

Gone to L.A., be back soon...

I wish. All I can hope for is that the Crazy 4 Cult exhibit will make it's way to Dallas one day, and that Kevin Smith will host the reception... at my house! It's basically a collection of some very cool and very creative artwork inspired by cult classic films. Some of them are very obvious, and some are a bit harder to figure out at first. Luckily, each piece has the name of the movie that inspired it to the right of the image.

Here are some of my favorites, see if you can figure out what movies they are referencing. I'm going to be keeping my eyes peeled for prints of some of these, as they are releasing one each month, limited edition of course. Now that's solid.

Roid-aids...

As of today, that's how I spell relief! See, I was in a kind of unhealthy relationship with this guy named Streptococcus, aka Strep (his street name). It was fun (for him) while it lasted, but he was taking too much time out of my day. I had to miss a day of work, spend $25 at the doctor's office, and really, the relationship was just too painful. I had to cut him loose. Got a steroid/antibiotic shot at the doc's office, and some kick a** antibiotics, and I'm already feeling soooo much better. He had a place to crash for a few days, but I had to kick him to the curb. He'll be fine. I heard he gets around, if you know what I'm saying...

I just hope I don't wake up tomorrow looking like one of these slightly-toned gentlemen. Though I did go to the batting cages last night, hoping I could hit one of those Barry Bonds style home runs, but I guess maybe you need at least two shots before that's possible. Gotta go work on my guns. Word.

Happy Trails

Well, we are back in Funky Town. We had such a great time in Ruidoso, getting to hang out with everybody, enjoying the mountains, and not being at work. I hope we do it again next year! The only sucky thing is that my cousin and aunt got sick, and I think I've brought it back with me. I am just glad they are feeling better, and at least I wasn't sick during the week. We left Ruidoso on Saturday morning, and the drive back was good. Erik took some photos to document the journey. On the way back we stopped off at the UFO Museum in Roswell, New Mexico. It was an interesting place, lots of X Files posters, newspaper articles and alien-inspired memorabilia. They even had their own library, which is where Erik was standing with the stuffed alien. The first few photos are from Friday, and the rest are from our drive back to Texas. It was a wonderful fantastic fun week, but tomorrow it's back to work. I can't contain the excitement...

A Day at the Races

Today was quite the adventure. The massages/mani-pedi experiences were interesting to say the least, then lunch brought even more drama/craziness, and after a short rest at the house, we headed out to the horse races at Ruidoso Downs. So much fun, even though we only went through about 5 races. It was actually Erik's first time at a horse racing track, ever. I think he had a pretty super time. He will be guest writing on my blog very soon, about our bizarre lunchtime experience today. Luckily Jessie and Erik were relaxed from their massages (though their masseuse was apparently quite the tree hugger and very very chatty) or else the lady at the cafe would have two black eyes and a few less teeth. But I will let Erik explain it fully, since he's the one who ended up with a lap full of ice water, and not in a good way.

Tomorrow (today) is our last full day of vacation up here in the mountains, so I'm going to try and enjoy it to the fullest. I'll probably start off the morning sitting out on the deck, enjoying a beverage. Good stuff, good stuff.
