A Day at the Races

Today was quite the adventure. The massages/mani-pedi experiences were interesting to say the least, then lunch brought even more drama/craziness, and after a short rest at the house, we headed out to the horse races at Ruidoso Downs. So much fun, even though we only went through about 5 races. It was actually Erik's first time at a horse racing track, ever. I think he had a pretty super time. He will be guest writing on my blog very soon, about our bizarre lunchtime experience today. Luckily Jessie and Erik were relaxed from their massages (though their masseuse was apparently quite the tree hugger and very very chatty) or else the lady at the cafe would have two black eyes and a few less teeth. But I will let Erik explain it fully, since he's the one who ended up with a lap full of ice water, and not in a good way.

Tomorrow (today) is our last full day of vacation up here in the mountains, so I'm going to try and enjoy it to the fullest. I'll probably start off the morning sitting out on the deck, enjoying a beverage. Good stuff, good stuff.
